Hi!
I am new to the diet, and am very exited about it. My multivitamin has some of the % of the recomended doses for calcium/magnession/zinc. It also has Iron in it. Do I just need to take xtra supplements to reach the mg the diet recomends or do I need to take the amount in the multivitamin plus the 1000/400/15mg and the xtra iron. Sorry to bother you with this question but I just want to make sure I am not over/under doing it. Thanks!! |

One more question...I live in Sweden so I am not able to find the brands mentioned in the book of the fish oil.(I heard about the book in the RR show) I found a brand that when I take 6 pills a day, gives me 1980mg of EPA and 1320mg of DHA. If I take 5 pills a day I am down to 1650mg of EPA and 1100mg of DHA. What should i do? Should I stay take the 6 pills or just the 5 so that I dont over do it? I weight 121 pounds and I am 5 feet 4 inches tall.
Its been impossible to find the right dosage other wise. They sell the MorEpa here but not DHA alone. Is there a website that ships fishoil pills outside the USA? GNC doesn´t do it. Sorry again if this was long, and thanks for the help! |

Minami doesn't sell MorDHA in Sweden? That is very strange. But your proportions are fine, just take five a day, that's close enough.
You can take the cal/mag/zinc along with your multi, as long as your multi has 100% the RDA or less of those minerals. Iron, however, I would need to know how many mg, you need to be more careful with that. |

I live in a small town here in Sweden so maybe that is why I didnt find MorDHA in the store I have here.
As for the minerals this is how much I am getting from my multivitamin plus a calcium-magnessiun supplement. 900mg calcium 400mg magnessium 22.5mg zinc 14mg iron These I take every day. Is this ok or should I aim for a different combination? I dont take the full calcium (1000mg) because then I would be over with the magnessium about 96mg per day. Should I take the extra calcium/magnessium supplemet to get me to the 1000mg calcium even if it means I go over with the magnessium? and Is it ok to just take 22.5mg of the zinc instead of the 24mg recommended? And is the 14mg (everyday) of Iron that I get from the multivitamins the right amount? Or do I need to take the extra 24mg every 2-3 days? Thanks again for your help. |

You are small enough that I think you are fine the way you are, with what you are taking right now. That should be enough iron for you.
