Anyone else suffered from sudden compulsive shopping?? I've suddenly noticed that the last few days I've been massively overspending.. I'm sure I read something somewhere about compulsive shopping being to do with serotonin levels?
Read one of the comments on the board about being grumpy being a really good sign. Well boy was I grumpy yesterday... I'm using a pelvic toner for my Kegels.. I did 300 reps today on the highest level - 2 strong springs. So my muscles don't seem to be that weak. But my internal sensitivity is very poor. I guess its worth just working every day to see how things progress. Anyone know what the range of time for getting libido back is? I know 2 weeks was quoted, but Marenna said elsewhere that was the quickest you could expect but most people would be longer. How long is longer... 3 months? 6 months? I think it would be helpful to know what a realistic upper limit was so you don't feel despondent if it takes longer than you expect.. |

I generally say a month at the full fish oil dosage to counteract any monthly hormonal fluctuations. Men generally respond within a week on the diet.
Compulsive spending is a bad sign--it's connected up to high dopamine. Some people on dopamine drugs have this problem, either compulsive spending, compulsive gambling, or of course compulsively wanting to have sex. This is the first I've heard of the first two being tied to high dose fish oil. But by all means, cut back on the fish oil dosage and see if things improve. |
