Hi Marenna
I have an interesting query and wonder if you had come across anything like this before. I started on Omega 3 in Feb or March and it took a while for the results to kick in. But now definitely feeling the benefit sexually which is fabulous. After having no libido for 10 years having some libido is great - sensitivity is better and all definitely more pleasurable. However, in the same period of time I have also noticed increasing procrastination, problems with focus, fidgeting, ... to the extent that I started looking into it and realised it's likely I have ADHD, and this has now been confirmed by doctors. Looking back at my history as a child it's clear this was a problem for years, but it's just curious that it's suddenly got worse now. One of the major recommendations for children and adults with ADHD is to take Omega 3. So I'm not convinced that it is the Omega 3. There are 2 other possibilities - 1 that it's pre-menopausal and due to hormone levels changing and 2, that I'm a lot less stressed than I've been for the past 20 years and as I'm no longer running on adrenalin which would mask my symptoms, they are more apparent. I wondered if you'd come across anything like this before. I've also read somewhere on the web that some of the programs for neurofeedback which is a brain training process ask patients to stop taking Omega 3 as it inhibits neuron transmission or neuron growth or something like that. I'm not asking you for any medical advice or opinion, just that you're an expert on Omega 3 and thought you might have come across it - or it might be useful for you to know. I've been using the Gyne thingy like the curling tong and it doesn't seem to have made a huge amount of difference - my husband hasn't noticed any difference. Could I be doing it wrong?? Is the Gyneflex better? I had some perineal damage when I gave birth to my daughter - a 3rd degree tear - but the difference should be internal anyway. Thanks for any thoughts Marenna.. Overall I'm thrilled with the benefits from the program and very happy your book was recommended to me (and yes I have been recommending it on!). Best Fruitbat |

For the focus thing, I would definitely take a break from the fish oil for a month and see what happens. Fish oil will make a person more relaxed and dreamy--that's tied up with a woman's libido.
You can also try taking the bulk of the fish oil in the afternoon and evening, if you need to be really sharp in the morning. Whatever device you are using, after a couple months at one level you should be moving up to the next level, just like weight-training. I assume you are using the Kegelmaster--you should be able to add more springs as you progress. |
