Hi zane! Stumbled across your diet on the internet and am starting with the fish oil, chocolate, vitamins etc today. I had a specific question about your comments about "smelling" your partner (in my case, my husband) -- I used to smell my husband very strongly (which was delightful and arousing) and it disappeared within a week of going on BCP for a month a year ago while we were engaged, never to return. It all kinda happened at once I'm hesitant to blame it solely on the BCP, especially since I was on it for such a short time so long ago, and figure it may have something to do some trust/relationship/spiritual issues that came up, but who knows...especially since I don't think I really notice ANY man's smell anymore . Have you had experience with people suddenly really noticing their partner's smell after being on your diet, even if they didn't before? I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for it to come back!
I'm hoping that your diet will work for me, but even if it doesn't, I figure it can't hurt to add the supplements that are already supposed to be good for you! Would also love to see my moods stablize some (or at least raise the ups and the downs alike), which it sounds like there is some other evidence for when fish oil is involved. I'm not trying the exercises yet because I've never had children and believe I have pretty strong Kegels to begin with.

I am happy that women are finding my diet on the Internet--I just ask two things. If my diet works for you, spend the eleven dollars to buy my book and tell your friends about the diet. My publicity run is over now, now I need word of mouth.
Women's sense of smell is definitely hormonal. Female sense of smell gets much sharper near ovulation. I find it hard to believe that only a month of hormonal birth control could upset your hormones enough to affect sense of smell, but perhaps my diet may help--it certainly does help to restore hormonal balance.

With respect to the book and word of mouth -- certainly! I know this is a big issue for a lot of women and I'd love to help get the word out. I'm really intrigued to read more about your research into this area in your book. Will definitely let you know how things go!
Also, I don't know if you've ever talked to the people at The Marriage Bed (www.themarriagebed.com) -- a Christian site promoting healthy sexuality in marriages. I have "lurked" there for about a year and posted occasionally. There are many members of the forums (and their spouses) who struggle with desire and orgasm and are open to trying new things to help with that. Many report loss of sex drive on BCP and are not huge on traditional medicine, and some have even seen results for men with eating pumpkin seeds and taking saw palmetto supplements, so they're often open to nutritional approaches. A husband and wife couple manage the site and the forums as their personal ministry. If I experience good results, I'll definitely post about it over there too...
