I can't afford fish oil at the moment, and when I did buy expensive fish oil, it dind't work (might be due to the fact that Minami MorDHA is in synthetic ethyl ester form 1, which some is much more difficult for the body to absorb.) I believe this might make a big impact on some women, since eating 100g of tuna made more difference to me than any capsule did. But of course, eating this much Tuna every day for a week, every week is not very healthy considering the state of your ocean. I have been looking for alternatives.

This might of interest to those who for some reason are not taking fish oil-

quote:

Bean Soup Boosts HGH and IGF-1 Levels

Bean Soup Boosts HGH and IGF-1 Levels: Growth Hormone Soup is a releaser that boosts HGH levels and provides a safe and natural alternative to boosting Human Growth Hormone without the possible side effects of injected HGH.

Researchers have been searching for a natural B2 agonist. And then they stumbled on a new way to boost HGH (Human Growth Hormone). They wanted something that could give muscle building and fat reducing but was natural, safe and legal. Well, after some searching, they found one.

It's called dopamine...a substance naturally produced by your own body. (It's actually a neuro-transmitter and manufactured by the brain) But there was a problem with this...the human body cannot assimilate orally ingested dopamine. So then they looked to dopamine pre-cursors...substances that the body could convert to dopamine...

The most direct pre-cursor is the amino acid l-dopa and it naturally occurs in Vicia Faba... or more commonly... Broadbean! Yes, the common Broadbean!"

Example: Favabean

What's more, a study performed in Australia at the Monash Medical Center demonstrated that the l-dopa content in 100 grams of growth hormone soup - broadbean pod mixture was 250mg (a dosage equivalent to the prescription dosage of an l-dopa treatment for Parkinson's disease).

The researchers concluded from the study "Vicia faba growth hormone soup produced comparable L-dopa blood levels to fasting standard tablet doses and recovery studies yielded 0.25% L-dopa per weight of bean pod mixture. Vicia faba contains sufficient L-dopa to be pharmacologically active."

So, what this means in a nutshell is that growth hormone soup can effectively and cheaply supply you with l-dopa which your body converts to dopamine...which is a B2 agonist that builds muscle and burns fat. Now, here's the best bit...Dopamine is one of the most potent HGH releasers.

Not only do we have a food (Broadbean) which can act as a B2 agonist, it also can boost HGH. And boosting HGH also boosts igf-1,testosterone, and insulin...three extremely anabolic hormones! Why not have a cup of Broadbean soup before you workout? And for those who want to restore youth, have a cup of growth hormone soup before bed, because this is another time the body naturally releases HGH into the bloodstream.

Follow the recipe below exactly... it is no ordinary Broad Bean soup recipe...this special one includes the pods. This is critical because the study which proved the broad beans contain pharmacologically active L-dopa used a Broad Bean Pod mixture...not just the beans. In fact the pods contain the highest concentration of l-dopa compared to the actual bean.

Also make sure that the Broad Beans you select are young...because the young ones contain the greatest amount of l-dopa. Don't skimp on the cream either...the hormones which we are going to boost will be aided by the animal fat of the cream. (the body manufactures the hormone testosterone from Cholesterol) So on the surface it may look like an ordinary soup recipe...but behind the scenes a bit of clever pharmacology is taking place

Fascinating. I wonder if it applies to other beans?

Shop around for the fish oil. You should be able to find cheaper brands than Minami--that's about the most expensive brand out there.

You are in the UK, correct?

Yes there are other versions- but they end up costing the same or even more than Minami.

For example you only need to take 1 capsule to get 450g of DHA with Minami and it costs £16.00 for 60. Some other brands state you have to take about 2 to get the same amount. This would be fine if they cost £8.00 for 60 becuause that would mean that the Minami and the other brand would be the same price in the end, just that the other brand would run out sooner.

But often the other brands cost about £12.00, which for 60 tablets taking 2 capsules would work out being more expensive in the long run.

I'm actually dyslexic in maths so if this is wrong correct me.

I'm going to try and get a hold of some broad beans soon lol.

xx

Yes I does- Velvet beans has actually be tested as a treatment for Parkinson's due to its high l-dopa content. Although, getting velvet is very very hard, - I can't find any online uk sources.

Probably an easier and cheaper way to raise dopamine is brew some damiana tea right before having relations.

Check with your doctor about drug interactions, and don't take it every day, and don't drive after drinking it.

You can buy it in bulk very cheaply and use a teaball or reusable cloth teabag.

I really can't drink herbal tea, no matter what it is becuase it makes me gag. I've tried Tyrosine, which is proven to turn into dopamine by your body, but it makes no difference whatsoever to me. Maybe it's the digestion thing again.
