First of all, I want to thank Marrena for all of your work vis-a-vis the orgasmic diet, from the initial research to the book to your outreach/promotion efforts. That you've done this all besides being a mother and a professional boggles the mind and underscores your passion. I am grateful for your labors and inspired by them in equal measure.
My question is about possible 'treatment' differences between anorgasmia and low libido. I have never had an orgasm, ever (alone or with a partner, with toys, fingers, or penetration, clitorally or vaginally--nothing). I don't think I have any problems with libido: I enjoy sex, have always been interested in it, get aroused easily, and don't have hangups about masturbating, sex toys, etc. Apparently my natural lubrication is rather prodigious, and I'm generally up for sex daily (or multiple times a day). Just being close to my partner (who is generally wonderful and supportive) makes me want him.
I've implemented your diet--fish oil in appropriate amounts, supplements, cutting down on carbs, soy, and caffeine--and though I can tell some slight differences, it's nothing cataclysmic. There's sometimes some digestive discomfort from all the fish oil and supplements, but honestly, the diet aspect isn't spectacularly different from how I normally eat. I got the Gyneflex (flexing level 3 for 20-30 min every other day) and the Eroscillator (good, and maybe a bit better than other vibrators, but not radically different).
My body seems to respond to sex, and I'm usually very into it (having a partner that I'm in love with and attracted to, which has not always been true, is a huge help, obviously). Sometimes I get the sense of build up associated with orgasm (esp when playing with vibe while we have sex) but not always. I get that sense of build up more rarely when masturbating/using vibrator alone.
I guess I'm wondering if the chemical basis for your program is really geared more toward libido problems, in which case I might as well skip all the fish oil, etc. Or, on the other hand, do you think I might have 'libido problems' even though I seem to enjoy/want sex? (Could it be that there's something wrong with my body's sexual response? If yes, would that--as opposed to a desire disorder--be classified as a libido problem? I don't very often notice the flush between my breasts, for instance). I do have a history (before my current partner) of some not very fulfilling sex, so I wonder if my body could have gotten deprogrammed somehow.
I'm 29, 5'5'' 128, healthy, in shape, etc. I do have low blood pressure, which I know your book mentions, but not so low that I take medication or anything. I'm anxious to hear any thoughts anyone has, since I really want this, both for me and for my relationship.
Thanks so much, again, Marrena.

Stay on my diet, it will help make having clitoral orgasms easier. It's not just for women with low libido, it's for women with regular libido who want a stronger libido.
That said, if you aren't able to have a clitoral orgasm with the Eroscillator, there is something off. It doesn't sound like it's a hormonal problem since you are interested in sex, lubricate, etc. Humor me, I really think this might be a blood pressure issue. For one month salt your food and drink sports drinks, Gatorade or other electrolyte-replacing drinks. During that time, masturbate with the Eroscillator but before you even start, make sure you are very turned on from reading erotica or watching porn or fantasizing or all of the above. Whatever turns you on most. Spend at least twenty minutes stimulating your clitoris with the vibrator.
Thanks so much for your response. I'll stay on the diet; I already use a good bit of salt, but I'll try sports drinks, which I've never tried but about which I've done a little research. Is it okay for me to use, e.g. SmartWater or Emergen-C's Electro-Replace rather than Gatorade, etc? I'm not big on artificial flavorings (and I try not to drink calories).
I'll keep you posted. I'm trying not to get discouraged. Thank you again for your help.
