Hey! I was just wondering if you would consider your sex-drive being high from even before the diet?I was just following one of the threads, and you had mentioned that your sex-drive was very high. Was this because of the diet, or has it always been this way?
My sex drive was high in an intellectual sense, but my body didn't cooperate. I had troubles with lubrication and orgasm, even though mentally I was always gung-ho. I like men. During my marriage my libido evaporated over time--at one point I went six months without an orgasm.
I can see what you mean.I feel exactly the way you did.I want sex intellectually, but my body doesnt seem to agree. I know there are a couple of times in the month that my body and my mind are in unison, and I know thats the way I should feel!I just want that to happen more often, you know, when your body just really wants sex!I need to feel that more often
Btw, my total T is 60ng/dl. Is that the right level for a good sex drive? Zane, do you know what your levels are? I was just wondering if there is a difference between the T levels of a woman with a high sex-drive and one with a low sex drive.Im not sure what my free T levels are.
And just a point-there is a difference between a mental/intellectual sex drive and a physical sex drive right? I know thats a vague question I would believe that the physical component is the true sex drive, rather than mentally just wanting it
It's been a while since I was tested, I don't know where I put the results. My total T was robust normal--on the higher end of normal. My free T, on the other hand, was ridiculously high because my SHBG was at the absolute healthy minimum.
I ordered your book the other day...waiting for it to come in!Ive also ordered my fish oil (Nature Made 1200mg)and Ca/Mg/Zn supplements.Looking forward to getting on the bandwagon!
Could you pleeeease tell me (approx)how much your total and free T were? And also whether the tests were done after you started the diet, or before?I just need it as a frame of reference.I dont know whether my levels are low, midway, or at the higher end of the range (60ng/dl) Thanks!
