Hello! So I'm restarting the diet, last time I did it I was also taking "Hot Plants for Women", and when I went off them felt very depressed, you said this was probably because it increases seratonin. So gave myself some time for it to get out of my body, and I'm going to re-start. I have some questions though:
1)I ordered Dong Quai to try if the diet doesn't work, do you know anything about this? I read it's supposed to help libido. 2)Since I'm vegetarian and will be avoiding soy, I thought maybe this time around I should get more protein, do you think it would be good to take whey protein with each meal? Should I aim for a combined 25grams of protein a meal? 3)Right now I'm taking the Dove dark chocolates, do you think switching to a darker chocolate will increase the effects? 4)I want to make sure my multivitamin doesn't have anything unhelpful in it, right now I'm taking One a Day Weight Smart, and one GNC Hair, Skin & Nails (ingredients is under Product Info). I know the One A Day has caffiene in it, I was thinking of instead taking the full dose of the GNC one. Sorry to bother you but could you tell me if either of these are ok? Thanks! |

Definitely don't take the Weight Smart. It has other stimulants besides caffeine. The other, I don't know some of the compounds. Why not just take a regular multivitamin while you are trying out the diet and you can save all that stuff to try later?
I don't suppose I can persuade you to stop being vegetarian? In any case, eggs, whole milk, cheese, and fish (if you don't count fish as meat) can all help. And whey is fine too. |

Yeah, I suppose I could just take a regular multi plus a biotin supplement(the main ingredient in the GNC pills, trying to strengthen my nails!). Are there any multis that you'd recommend?
And nope, no meat/fish for me Thanks! |
