I am looking for what brands you personally recommend for the diet. I like to take more all natural supplements and am hoping you can point me in the right direction.
I have read of Spectra Fish oil that is from Wild Caugh fish, and I saw something your wrote about a Japanese named fish oil starting with "M," but on that site I couldn't figure out which to buy.
Thank you - I loved the book and can't wait to feel the results!
I would think all fish in fish oil is from wild fish. Farm-raised fish is low in omega-3 fatty acids because the fish are fed differently than wild fish, just like factory-raised beef is low in omega-3 fatty acids compared to free-range beef.
Minami is I think a French company, not Japanese. If you take that product, you need to take a combination of MorEPA and MorDHA. Minami fish oil is very high quality, and safe for pregnant and nursing women, but I think it's too expensive for most people. Personally I take the Sears OmegaRx and Carlson's Super-DHA in combination, but I'm thinking of switching to krill oil to save money. Really any product with EPA + DHA > 500 mg per one one-gram capsule is refined enough. GNC carries a couple brands at this concentration.
