I read about your diet in Cosmo, and decided to give it a try. It works amazingly well. I could tell a dramatic difference in my desire
to have sex, and my ability to orgasm with better intensity. Although the diet works great, I'm having trouble determining what amount of fish oil is right for me. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh about 160. Should I go with the 2500 mg EPA and 2000 mg DHA? My other issue is getting enough DHA. In all the pills I've looked at, when I take enough to reach my EPA level, I'm still lacking in my DHA level. For instance, the GNC fish oil pills offer 360 mg EPA and 240 mg DHA. When I take seven pills I total 2520 mg EPA, but only 1680 mg DHA. Should I take more pills until I hit my DHA daily amount?

Carlson's makes a product called Super DHA that you can get at the Vitamin Shoppe and maybe GNC. It's mostly DHA with a little EPA, so you can balance out. I don't know if you can get it in the UK. Minami sells a product that's mostly DHA called MorDHA. But it's expensive.

As for the amounts, listen to your body. 2500 mg EPA and 2000 mg DHA would be the maximum for your weight, don't go past that.

I have the book & I appreciate everything you're doing. So thank you!

I was already taking close to 2 grams of fishoil a day but mostly EFAs for my endometriosis (as an anti-inflammatroy), so I haven't experienced the type of libido spike you talk about in the book becuase I was getting tops probably 500mg DHA.

I'm 5'9" & 145 lbs. Based on the ratios from the chart in your book, I estimate I need about 2000mgs of EFA out of which 1560mg is DHA. I get pretty bad indigestion from fishoil so I take it with digetive enzymes which help, but don't totally alleviate the problems (mostly burping).

If I take 3 Carlson Super DHAs for 1500mg DHA, that would give me a total of 3 grams of fishoil, alot more than anything I've ever taken or whats recommended for my size/weight. I also have Hep C so I don't wanna get too crazy with too much fat and the extra load on my liver. Not sure how to get 1500mg DHA out of 2 grams total of EFA. Any ideas? Thanx in advance

I'm not sure how you got that. Check the book again, Chapter 4, page 64.

I am telling women to take more omega-3 fatty acids than what is generally recommended for their size and weight. That's what is controversial about my diet, I thought I sort of made that clear in the book, maybe not.

While three grams is a lot when you are talking about omega-3 fatty acids, it isn't very much simply as a fat, that's less than a teaspoon. If you are on a diet for medical reasons that restricts your fat intake to under a teaspoon a day, you should most definitely check with your doctor before undertaking this diet!
