Marrena, a couple of interesting things have happened recently and I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Last week I had an erotic dream (about buying a vibrator and trying to find my G-spot, funnily enough!) and I had an orgasm in my sleep. This has happened a few times in the past, and I'm pretty sure I haven't been touching myself at the time. I haven't thought much of it, other than it's felt good and I've had a nice dream!

Anyway, I was having penetrative sex with my boyfriend today and had an orgasm pretty quickly, with him lying on top and rubbing against my clitoris (this is the way I usually orgasm during penetration), but to my surprise, I had another one a couple of minutes later. That isn't particularly unusual and it often happens if I'm very turned on, but what was different today was that the second time, he wasn't rubbing against me, so I orgasmed without direct stimulation on my clitoris.

I assumed the orgams in my sleep were spontaneous clitoral orgasms, and the second orgasm I had today did feel like a clitoral one, but I've never had an orgasm without stimulation when I've been awake. SO I was wondering if it might have been a vaginal orgasm, since that part of me WAS being stimulated. It didn't feel any different so I'm guessing not, but it was certainly interesting and very pleasureable anyway! Do you think it shows I'm making progress?

That's hard for me to say, because it's pretty rare for women to be able to have clitoral orgasms from penetrative sex, so I would hesitate to judge your experience against the norm.

I have clitoral orgasms from penetrative sex and have for a very, very long time. Only with him on top though which is why I'm trying to develop the vaginal orgasmic ability. I've still got a ways to go on that front.

I have had orgasms in my sleep before as well, but only if it's been a long time since having one while awake! I assumed they were vaginal since I knew there was no clitoral stimulation. I always wondered why I could have one in my sleep and not while I was awake. Didn't know you could have a spontaneous clitoral orgasm!

Yeah I meant to mention that I also have orgasms in my sleep and I don't think I'm getting any clitoral stimulation when they happen. Then again, I am asleep. Anyway, it makes me hopeful that I can attain vaginal orgasmic ability if I just keep working at it.
