Minami also supplies the UK and Europe. I think they are even more expensive, however.

Just found this- http://www.1stvitality.com/nutrasea/fish_oil_absorption.htmApparently- quote: the natural triglyceride form was 300% better absorbed than the synthetic ethyl ester form1. Another study looking at the bioavailability of EPA and DHA found the ethyl ester form to be 40% and 48% less absorbed for EPA and DHA respectively as compared to EPA and DHA in the natural triglyceride form2.
MorDha is made from ethyl esters. Maybe this would explain why it has almost no effect on me?

Hi, this is Dave, strumpet's husband. I've been doing a bit of reading around about this, and I don't think it's as clear as the 1stvitality site says. Those studies it links to are all quite old, and one of them only says that bio availability is increased with a high fat meal. There are more recent studies that suggest there's not too much difference between the two. See this page, and the links on the right. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=PubMed&Cmd=...ubmed_RVAbstractPlusWhat does seem likely, is that it's important to have some fat at the same time as the supplements to increase bioavailability of the supplements - presumably because the ordinary fat tells your body to get ready for processing fat (increased lipases) which can then deal with the supplements - a few tablespoons of olive oil would probably be a healthy way of doing this. Hope this helps Dave

Sounds reasonable. I recommend women take fish oil with meals, and I recommend meals contain 30% of (good) fats, so that is in keeping with my diet.
