Oh for goodness sake, it's physiological! My ability goes away completely if I go off my diet. And clitoral orgasms are still tricky for me. There have been brain scans of women at orgasm and different parts of the brain light up with women at orgasm, parts of the brain involved with trust and relaxation. So it's not like women are being cruel with you, that's just the way we are wired. I think clitoral orgasms in particular do require a level of trust from most women.

For one thing, the teeth are on a vulnerable spot. . . better be a trustworthy guy. I remember years ago trying to get a young woman to go to bed with me after we talked a long time in a bar having a lot of fun together. She said she didn't want to be penetrated vaginally or orally because of fear of pregnancy, disease, getting hurt, etc. I offered to worship her orally in a completely onesided manner, but she said some guy had bit her in the clit and she would never allow that again. Oddly enough we still had a great time in the bar booth and even "made out" extensively. I was cheating on my 1st wife and shouldn't have been involved anyway! Lloyd Baker |

No, I think with a woman like that there are more issues, a fear of men in general. I mean yes, men often are very inept when it comes to clitoral stimulation. But I think that particular woman was attracted to you because you were willing to make out with her and stop without pressing.
I am a firm believer in the legitimacy of a variety of approaches to sex. What's good for one person may be bad for another, and people fit together in surprising ways sometimes. If the fit is good, it doesn't matter if it conforms to the norm. I do think people in general should make the effort to get their bodies in good sexual form, if sex is at all important to them. I think excellent sexual physiological function just makes things easier and gives confidence. And even there, it's not a one-size-fits-all. I don't recommend my diet to every woman off the bat, for example some women write to me who have never even had an orgasm. Those women I give different advice to. And even with my diet some women benefit more from some parts than others. Everyone is an individual. |

Thunder's Place is a trip. . . I tried to register again today, Saturday as registration is "open" Saturday. I was too rushed in the AM, so I tried 3:00pm. . Too late, 100 registrations already. . . huh?!

Zane, in case you want to lose some of that weight, I have found the most amazing weight loss system: the Shangri-la Diet (No Diet!). It was developed by a psychologist into self-experimentation, much like you are into self-experimentation. Check it out NY Times Article: Shangri-la Diet, No Diet! Lloyd Baker |

Lloyd, I'm writing a diet book.
But thank you. |

Huh? A weight loss diet book too? I thought the fish oil, etc. diet was for orgasms! Lloyd Baker |

Well, the Shangri-la diet is for weight loss and is completely independent of any other diet one is on, because it is really a NO DIET strategy for weight loss (thus, completely compatible with your ORGASMIC DIET). After of few days of trying it, my own compulsive "pigging-out" on donuts and other junk food (as I drive around on my HVAC service job) stopped and I dropped 10 lbs in a little over a week. The Shangri-la diet works on a little known and little applied, but oddly, well research principle about how the body uses taste preferences to motivate over-eating to store fat against "hard times". According to this theory, every time you eat, the body automatically senses the calorie content of the food eaten and assigns a more "positive" value to the TASTE of the food eaten. Needless-to-say, this happens with no conscious awareness. One finds one self "hungering" to repeat the taste experience. Repeating the taste experience further reinforces how "positive" one perceives the specific high calorie associated taste. The Shangri-la "diet" consists of several strategies to break this cycle that leads to over-eating: 1. Take 1 table spoon 1 hr away from eating (in both directions) twice a day of tasteless ultra-light olive oil. The tasteless calories (about 200 if I recall for each table spoon) disrupts the "taste conditioning function" and dramatically reduces compulsive eating. 2. Take 2 table spoons of pure white sucrose or fructose in water in the same way. Pure sweetness for some reason does not impact the "taste conditioning function." 3. Deliberately seek new and different tastes every time you are hungry to further disrupt the "taste conditioning function". 4. Carry a rack of spices and flavor shakers with you to alter randomly the tastes of the various things you eat! I'm impressed with the initial results on myself, but, of course, the initial reaction could be psychological suggestion. We'll have to see if I get long term results. Lloyd Baker |

Zane,
By the way, I am continuing the fish oil dosages we discussed on Thunders. As a male, I don't notice a lot of difference sexually, but the good effect on my arthritis (I am really too old for this manual labor service work I am doing) has been VERY welcome! By the way, absolutely zero results from my Thunder's work-outs! Just another data point! Lloyd Baker |

But Lloyd, I love pleasure. I like to eat delicious food. That diet makes no sense to me.
I'm surprised at the lack of results from the diet. What parts of the diet are you doing? I don't remember offhand how much fish oil you are taking. With thunders it works for some men and not for others. I just thought you should know about it. My diet is a weight-loss diet if you follow the Zone Diet if you are on it, and that's what I'm doing now that I have to get in shape to promote my book (finally finished it). |

But there is NO DIET! You can eat anything you want! You AUTOMATICALLY won't tend to crave and to over-eat as much. All you have to do is remember to take the flavorless calories twice a day. There is really incredibly strong science behind the diet. I realize the diet is counter intuitive. That is what is so weird and amazing about it! Alternatively, the Shangri-la method enables you to stay on other diets EASILY if you so desire be it Zone, Atkins, West Beach, Weight Watchers, whatever!
Well, I didn't really have erectile or orgasmic problems, so I guess there was little reason to look for much a change there. . . maybe I'm a little more quickly stimulated than I have been in recent years. Now, if I had a couple pounds of spongy vascular tissue to erect. . .
Yeah, a very interesting experiment psychologically. Probably too old for it to work on me.
Great! Glad to hear you are done. I will be looking forward to reading it. Shangri-la just quells those "cravings" and eliminates most of the need for mental discipline. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Lloyd Baker, Lloyd Baker |

You helped me calculate how many Walgreens fish oil soft gels to take. . . turned-out to be 14 soft gels a day because they aren't as potent as the one you recommend. Walgreens' are so cheap on those 2 bottles for price of one days, I can't get away from them. What do you think of the borage and flax seed oils? They seem to have the same Omegas that fish oil does, plus a number of others. I just notices some on sale at Walgreens today. I am taking a full range of vitamins, minerals, vegetable extracts, anti-oxidants, coQ10, glucosomine/chondroitin, testosterone herbs, human gonadotropin, and amino acids that are supposed to stimulate the production of growth hormone (arginine & othnothine(sp?)). . . Woops! Saw Palmetto and chrysin too as insurance against prostate problems. Chrysin is supposed to prevent the aromatization of testosterone into estrogen.
