No, unfortunately. Flax seed oil has ALA. For a woman's libido, the important omega-3 fatty acids are DHA and EPA, found in fish oil.

It's still good for you though. Don't want to override Marrena's advice, but you could always use both.
I am partial to the actual flax seeds ground up in a coffee grinder versus the flax oil(can't stand it). You get lots of fiber and some protein in addition to the good fat. And the seeds themselves are probably pretty cheap in comparison to the flax oil.

Flaxseed oil does have omega-3 in it and is preferred by some people however some doctors say flaxseed oil should not be taken by pregnant women.

I didn't say that flax didn't have omega-3 in it. It does. It's just a type of omega-3 that won't do anything for a woman's libido, it's ALA. It's primarily DHA and secondarily EPA that help libido. ALA will convert to the other types in the body, but you would have to drink like a gallon of flaxseed oil a day to get the same dosages I recommend.
